Okay, not been tagged for this one, but since I wanted to post and couldn’t think of what to type will do this instead. I got it from Whitterer on Autism.
1. What were you afraid of as a child?
Pain was the biggest one, still is.
2. When have you been most courageous?
Probably when Sammie was seriously ill. It was afterwards I fell to pieces.
3. What sound most disturbs you?
There are lots, but loud, high pitched noises are the worst.
4. What is the greatest amount of physical pain you’ve been in?
Gallstones. Definitely gallstones.
5. What’s your biggest fear for your children? (or children in general if you don’t have your own)
That she will be in pain. That she won’t be happy.
6. What is the hardest physical challenge you’ve achieved?
Probably all the walking I did in Walsingham during the summer.
7. Which do you prefer: Mountains or oceans/big water?
Mountains are nice, if I don’t have to climb them :p
8. What is the one thing you do for yourself that helps you keep everything together?
Humm… not really keeping everything together at the moment but computer stuff.
9. Ever had a close relative or friend with cancer?
I’m sure I have, but cannot think of any now.
10. What are the things your friends count on you for?
Apparently asking for advice about various things, though I do not understand why.
11. What is the best part of being in a committed relationship?
Knowing that I am safe.
12. What is the hardest part of being in a committed relationship?
Always upsetting someone.
13. Summer or Winter? Why?
Winter. Sunlight is evil.
14. Have you ever been in a school-yard fight? Why and what happened?
Playgrounds here. I have been bullied in the playground, but never really been in a fight. Too wimpy.
15. Why blog?
Lets me try and get my thoughts into order. Or not. Also for communication purposes.
16. Did you learn about sex, and/or sex safety from your parents?
Some of it. The internet and the Encyclopaedia Britannica provided the rest.
17. How do you plan to talk to your kids about sex and/or sex safety?
Answer any questions that may come up, and possibly get a book/written information.
18. What are you most thankful for this year?
Sammie is doing well. despite everything.

Huh! Sorry for the delay [had the usual password / login nightmare - oh the technical challenges of daily blogging!]
Great list – sunlight is evil! I wonder if…? Funny how everyone who has done this so far has one more or less common answer = number 5, that we all want our children to have a happy future, sometimes it’s good to be boring and samey.
